Monday TV Wrap: The Block Clocks A High Score For Nine, While AFL Hits A Sweet Spot For Seven

Nine and Seven were neck and neck in primary channel audience share on Monday night – 19.6 per cent to 19.5 per cent, respectively, according to OzTAM numbers.

Nine’s The Block did the goods with a high of 885,000 metro viewers, while Seven’s AFL Monday Night Footabl did a decent 596,000.

The ABC and 10 also had decent nights, doing 13.7 per cent and 1.11 per cent respectively. SBS did 4.3 per cent. 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention was its best for the night with 572,000 eyeballs, while ABC’s Australian Story enjoyed 575,000.

Here’s how the rest of the night went.

Nine

News did 1.00m, ACA did 776,000, and Hot Seat did 521,000.

Seven

News did 1.06m, The Chase did 575,000 and Home and Away did 495,000. AFL pre-match did 348,000.

10

The Project did 457,000, while 10 News First did 338,000.

ABC

News did 781,000, 7.30 did 627,000, Four Corners did 483,000 and Media Watch did 447,000.
