Tuesday TV Wrap: Plate Of Origin Continues To Flambé With Just 419,000 Viewers Tuning In

Tuesday’s Plate of Origin episode was down 37 per cent on its launch as 419,000 viewers tuned in, according to OzTAM metro data.

The Sunday launch of the show pulled 667,000 viewers, while Monday saw just 510,000 eyeballs.

A Seven spokesperson told B&T the new show is competing in a fierce space: “Plate of Origin is airing in a competitive field and we look forward to seeing how it performs for the rest of the season.”

Meanwhile, ABC’s Anh’s Brush With Fame did the goods with 682,000, just beating 10’s The Masked Singer which did 681,000. Nine’s The Block did 692,000.

Nine won with a primary channel share of 18.1 per cent, Seven got silver with 16.8 per cent, ABC did 13.2 per cent, 10 did 12.5 per cent, and SBS did 5.8 per cent.

News did 1.02m, The Chase did 566,000 and Home and Away did 552,000.

Nine

News did 971,000, A Current Affair did 732,000, Halifax: Retribution did 479,000 and Hot Seat did 503,000.

The Masked Singer Reveal did 797,000, The Project did 532,000, and 10 News First did 366,000.

ABC

Over at the ABC, news did 721,000, 7.30 did 565,000, and Further Back in Time for Dinner did 582,000.
