Wednesday TV Wrap: Hard Quiz Plays Hard Ball For ABC, As The Bachelor Takes A Dive

ABC’s Hard Quiz topped the night in entertainment with 698,000 metro viewers tuning in, according to OzTAM data.

Another ABC program, Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell came in second, attracting a good 622,000 eyeballs, while Seven’s The Chase came in third in entertainment with 605,000 viewers. Nine’s best entertainment for the night was Hot Seat (521,000).

Meanwhile, 10’s tentpole program The Bachelor took a bit of a dip, attracting 582,000 metro viewers.

Nine won across primary channel share, recording 18.8 per cent. Meanwhile, Seven posted 16.0 per cent, while ABC wasn’t too far behind on 14.7 per cent. 10 did 11.3 per cent, while SBS did 5.8 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Nine

News did 1.01m,  A Current Affair did 712,000, Emergency did 498,000, and RBT did 447,000.

10

The Project did 519,000, and 10 News First did 385,000.

Seven

News did 1.06m, Home and Away did 613,000, and Highway Patrol did 351,000.

ABC

News did 752,000, 7.30 did 608,000, and Rosehaven did 500,000.

All channel share

Nine won the night across all channels with 26.9 per cent. Seven did 24.3 per cent, 10 did 19.0 per cent, ABC did 19.3 per cent and SBS did a rare 10.5 per cent.
