TV Anchor Loses Tooth Live To Air, Carries On As If Nothing Happened

There’s never a good time for a tooth to suddenly pop out and no more so than when you’re reading the morning news bulletin.

So, it’s hats off to Ukrainian news reader Marichka Padalko who suffered the indignity of losing a tooth live-to-air only to handle the embarrassing situation with unfettered professional aplomb.

The mother-of-three later revealed via her Instagram account that that she required a tooth repair around a decade ago after her daughter smashed it accidentally while swinging a metal alarm clock.

Padalko recently underwent a “radical repair” on the troublesome tooth that should have her demanding a refund.

“Honestly, I thought the incident would go unnoticed,” Padalko wrote of the incident on Instagram.

“But we underestimated the attention of our viewers,” she added before offering this sage advice: “In any situation, keep calm. See you tomorrow morning.”
