Travel Publisher We Are Explorers Uses Its Voice For Good

We Are Explorers is using its voice in the tourism sector for good, offering tour operators across Australia and New Zealand free six-monthly listings on their platform.

Reaching over 1 million Australians each month, their exposure gesture aims to support those who’ve been hit the hardest by both the COVID-19 situation and the tragic fire season.

Adventure operators across Australia and New Zealand are encouraged to contact the publisher to get involved.

“We’re in a position to help here, so we will. We all play a role in getting our industry back on its feet, and this is ours”, says Founder of We Are Explorers, Henry Brydon.

The launch of the tour directory forms part of the publisher’s wider multi-platform campaign, #ExploreYourBackyard. Launched to inspire Aussies to start dreaming about their first adventure when restrictions are lifted; to explore the incredible places within Australia and by doing so support local communities.

We Are Explorers has responded to the current COVID-19 challenges with optimism, working hard to keep their loyal audience entertained and hopeful. They’ve just wrapped a successful social activation HomeGrown Adventures which saw everything from a lounge room surfing and indoor triathlons to nude abseiling and roof hiking.

And what is the next peak for this ambitious publisher? Anticipating the strong shift towards domestic travel when restrictions are lifted, they’ve created the ultimate trip planning tool.

An online hub with nine dedicated destination pages that list over 1000 adventures and tours across Aus and NZ, from trekking Tassie’s iconic Cradle Mountain to chasing tropical waterfalls in far North Queensland, this list is honestly endless.
