Bored Photoshoppers Go To Town Following The Queen’s TV Address To The Nation

Like most of the planet, the UK is having a terrible time with coronavirus with some 60,000 cases and over 7000 deaths thus far.

This prompted the Queen to give a rare TV address to the British public on Tuesday night where she called for unity amid the pandemic. If you really wanted to, you can watch her Maj’s speech in full here.

But keen Royal watchers were quick to note the Queen’s green dress during her speech, which was a similar shade to weather reporters’ “green screens” and the ideal platform for some self-isolating Photoshop fun.

As reported on Bored Panda, graphic artist Peter Chiykowski was the first to notice the potential for some digital mischief and the idea has since gone viral, turning the 93-year-old Monarch into anything from a Star Trek commander, heavy metal enthusiast and Doctor Who fan.
