Ziff Davis Announces New Sales Team And Global Realignment

Ziff Davis has today announced the promotion of Ben Hutton (pictured) to lead the Australian
sales team.

Hutton’s promotion comes alongside three new hires in Harry Argyle (Account Manager) joining from
Bohemia, Anthony Meighan (Sales Coordinator – Programmatic) and Chad Caliskan (Sales Coordinator –
Direct).

Hutton at Ziff Davis in 2017 and previously held the role of Senior Account Manager. Before joining Ziff
Davis Ben worked at Allure Media for two and a half years.

James Whitehead, General Manager at Ziff Davis Australia, said: “Ben has established himself as a leading
media professional. His expertise and enthusiasm for our core brands, categories, and client relationships are
infectious. I look forward to working closely with him on recognising success with the new team under the
global realignment of our world-class brands.”

Hutton said: “I’m thrilled to be leading the Ziff Davis sales team into this new era for the business. With all of the changes around 3rd party cookies, premium interest-based publishers are very likely to be in high demand and Ziff Davis is well-positioned to offer brands Gaming, Tech, Lifestyle and Parenting audiences at scale. We have an incredibly passionate team and with the addition of great talent in Harry, Chad, and Anthony we will be a force to be reckoned with.

“With that being said, it’s no secret that we’re in a challenging media market. Our job is to demonstrate how
valuable we truly are, not just for our advertising services but what our editorial, social and events teams do
on a daily basis to cover brands and introduce them to our audience. I would challenge any brands or agencies
to look beyond the mainstream and help support the sites and publications that support you.”

These new promotions come as Ziff Davis has undergone a global realignment. Historically, Ziff Davis was
organised by geography, but in response to the changing organisation, marketplace, and media landscape, the
company has realigned into global business units based upon its key mastheads. These changes will streamline
the capabilities of our brands, including IGN, Ziff Media Group (Mashable, PCMag, AskMen) and Spiceworks Ziff Davis, to deliver truly global opportunities for our client partners.

Yael Prough, EVP, General Manager added: “With the move by many of our partners and clients towards
globalisation now is the perfect time for IGN and Ziff Davis to truly globalise. This is intended to not only help our partners from a global content publishing perspective but also from a marketing perspective across all of our 28 platforms globally. Jimmy Whitehead has built a tremendous team in Australia and I’m excited to
continue to help IGN grow in Australia and internationally.”
