Thursday TV Wrap: Seven Wins The Night, As MKR On The Up

Struggling Seven has had its first win of the ratings season, earning the most audience share across all channels and key demos.

Across all channels, Seven did 29.3 per cent, while Nine came in second with 26.3 per cent and 10 did 20.0 per cent. Seven won the main channel too with 18.5 per cent, while Nine did 17.8 per cent and 10 did 13.0 per cent.

In key demos across all channels (25-54) Seven did 29.0 per cent, Nine did 27.8 per cent and 10 did 24.4 per cent. In 16-39s across all channels, Seven also came out on top with 30.2 per cent, 10 was second 27.2 per cent and Nine did 25.7 per cent.

And, in even better news for the network, its flailing cooking show MKR surpassed half a mil, reaching 517,000 Aussies and coming in at the ninth most-watched show of the night, according to OzTAM metro numbers. Granted, Thursday’s are usually quiet in TV-land (plus there was no competition from Nine’s MAFS) but a win is a win.
