Guinness Introduces “Guinness Clear” (Well, Water, In Latest Responsible Drinking Campaign)

Beer brewer Guinness has unveiled a new spot that gloriously parodies beer brewers.

The ad for “Guinness Clear” is actually a safe drinking spot to encourage people to limit their alcohol and drink more water.

Timed to coincide with the Six Nations Rugby, the ad’s the work of creative agency AMV BBDO and delightfully spoofs all the clichés you’d find in any beer spot.

Check out the watery fun below:

Commenting on the ad, Mark Sandys, global head of beer, Baileys and Smirnoff at Diageo said: “We think the light-hearted approach delivered through Guinness Six Nations will drive conversation and put responsible drinking to front of mind throughout the Guinness Six Nations and beyond.

“We want to make sure that ordering water, no matter the context, is an active and positive choice by the millions of fans who will be watching and attending the Guinness Six Nations over the next six weeks.”
