Monday TV Wrap: Ninja Finale Soars To 1.4 Million

Last night’s Ninja Warrior grand final went out with a bang, with 1.4 million viewers tuning in to watch the winner announcement according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Which, arguably begs the question, with the numbers it pulls, why doesn’t Nine give the show another few weeks?

In the battle of the other networks, 10’s Survivor (655,00) turned the tables on Australia’s Got Talent (630,000). While Have You Been Paying Attention? (673,000) beat both of them.

On the back of last night’s Ninja finale, Nine won Monday with 31.8 per cent of the audience share (all channels). Seven had 25.4 per cent, 10 did 18.9 per cent, the ABC had 16 per cent and SBS pulled 7.9 per cent.

Nine’s other highlights included its 6pm news (927,000), ACA (885,000) and Hot Seat (526,000).

10’s movers and shakers included The Project (496,000) and 10 News First (367,000).

Seven’s news had 1.1 million, Home And Away pulled 707,000, The Chase did 644,000 and S.W.A.T did 367,000.

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (248,000) beat Today (210,000).
