Sunday TV Wrap: Australia’s Got Talent Debuts To 814,000

Sunday night TV viewers were spoilt for reality TV choice with the three commercial networks all airing their reality big guns last night.

Nine’s Ninja Warrior took bragging rights, pulling an impressive 1.15 million viewers last night and honours as the evening’s most watched show.

Australia’s Got Talent’s debut managed 814,000 for Seven according to OzTAM metro numbers, while 10’s Survivor took a hit, it fell to 562,000

Ninja gave Nine the night with 33.7 per cent audience share (all channels). Seven had 29.2 per cent, ABC stole third and 16.9 per cent, 10 did 14.1 per cent and SBS had 6.2 per cent.

When it came to the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven (1.106 million) edged Nine’s (976,000).

60 Minutes (738,000) beat Sunday Night (486,000).

Nine’s NRL pulled 283,000 to Seven’s AFL that had 279,000.

10’s other standouts were The Sunday Project (361,000), 10 News First (220,000) and Instinct (185,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (637,000), Midsomer Murders (470,000), The Planets (489,000).

Over at SBS, its best was a repeat of Who Do You Think Your Are? that managed 150,000.
