Monday TV Wrap: Ninja Gets Nine Home By The Proverbial Bee’s Anatomy

Nine’s Ninja Warrior was again the pick of the entertainment shows last night, posting 923,000 viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers.

10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? (703,000) was second, MasterChef did 667,000 and House Rules did 590,000. The ABC’s Back Roads continues to do well for Aunty, pulling 681,000.

Nine snuck home for the narrowest of Monday night wins, snaring 27.7 per cent of the audience share to Seven’s 27.4 per cent (all channels). 10 had 19.5 per cent, the ABC did 17.5 per cent and SBS had eight per cent.

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (273,000) again saw off Today (204,000).

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 1.159 million. Other standouts for the network were Home And Away (711,000), The Chase (704,000) and S.W.A.T (361,000).

Over at 10, The Project had 511,000 and 10 News First had 411,000.

Nine’s 6pm news did 952,000, ACA had 836,000 and Hot Seat had 530,000.

The ABC’s evening ran this way: 7pm news 716,000, Back Roads (681,000), 7.30 (633,000), Four Corners (563,000), Media Watch (521,000) and Q&A (308,000).

Over at SBS, its best was Chasing The Moon with 160,000.
