Sunday TV Wrap: A Buoyant ‘House Rules’ Nails It For Seven

House Rules had its best night of the season last night, pulling 805,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers and confirming its reputation as a “grower”.

However, Nine’s The Voice still claimed top entertainment show of the night, posting 1.105 million.

Seven snuck home for the Sunday night win with 31. 7 per cent audience share (all channels). Nine had to console itself with 30.3 per cent, 10 nabbed third and 16.3 per cent, the ABC had 15.6 per cent and SBS did 6.2 per cent.

In the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven (1.194 million) claimed bragging rights over Nine (1.02 million).

60 Minutes (673,000) however, turned the tables on Sunday Night (621,000).

Seven’s AFL had 451,000 to Nine’s NRL with 297,000.

10’s evening ran this sway: MasterChef (621,000), The Sunday Project (407,000), 10 News First (266,000) and FBI (203,000).

Best for the ABC was its 7pm news (675,000), followed by Shetland (509,000) and Harrow (461,000).

For the SBS, its best was its World News with 131,000, which made it the 48th most watched show of the night.
