Sunday TV Wrap: Lego Masters Continues Winning Ways, As Nine Commissions Second Series

Lego Masters was again the most watched show of Sunday, posting an impressive 1.126 million viewers last night according to OzTAM metro numbers.

It follows news over the weekend that Nine bosses are so chuffed with Lego’s numbers they’ve already commissioned a second series of the show.

Meanwhile last night, House Rules did 704,000 for Seven and 10’s MasterChef struggled to 573,000.

Nine won the night with 30.2 per cent of the audience share. Seven was left to rue the missed opportunity, posting 30.2 per cent. ABC took third and 16.2 per cent, 10 had 15.7 per cent and SBS took home 6.7 per cent.

In the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven’s (1.028 million) saw of Nine’s (one million).

Interestingly, Seven’s Sunday Night (607,000) posted a rare win over arch rival 60 Minutes (492,000).

Seven’s AFL coverage peaked at 351,000, while Nine’s NRL did 290,000.

MasterChef aside, 10’s other standouts were The Sunday Project (378,000), Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival (231,000) and 10 News First (208,000).

The ABC’s night went this way: 7pm news (660,000), Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders (485,000) and Harrow (455,000).

Best for SBS was David Baddiel On The Silk Road with 171,000.
