Cancer Council NSW was the only Australian winner in the Branded Content and Entertainment category in Cannes, taking Silver for its ‘I Touch Myself’ video featuring Chrissy Amphlett’s iconic track.

‘Wipe Off 5’ for the Transport Accident Commission and created by Grey Melbourne, Mitchell & Partners South Melbourne and The Pound Melbourne, was also shortlisted but didn’t make it over the line.

Gold winners included Chipotle Mexican Grill’s The Scarecrow, by Creative Artists Agency Los Angeles and the Oscars Selfie for Samsung, entered by 72andsunny Los Angeles, CA / PMKBNC New York and Edelman Digital New York.

Jurors awarded 66 Lions in the category, but no Grand Prix. The category was introduced in 2012.
