Lite n’ Easy has announced it is a major partner of The Block’s 2019 series.
In a first of its kind for the brand, Lite n’ Easy will be fuelling the Blockheads throughout the series ensuring they have all the nourishment and meals they need to successfully get them through the renovations with ample energy and nutrition.
Former Blockhead, Jess Eva said: “The contestants this year have a major advantage, the nutrition and energy they will be getting from eating Lite n’ Easy throughout this season will be priceless.”
Head of Lite n’ Easy, Dennis Stark said: “Our decision to become a partner was a no brainer because of the show’s existing stable of trusted household Australian brands.
“The show continues to have incredible success and we are proud to connect with so many viewers who are striving to lead a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
“Despite so many other quick meal options coming onto the market, our brand remains strong, proving itself to Australians who want nutritious, delicious, perfectly portioned meals they can trust.”
This year, The Block contestants will face the biggest physical and mental challenges in Block history.
To complete these challenges and perform at their best, the contestants will need to be healthy, both physically and mentally.
Lite n’ Easy head of nutrition and accredited practising dietitian, Maryl-Ann Marshall said” “When living and working in a fast-paced, stressful environment, eating healthy is not just important for physical health, it is also vital for mental health too.
“We know this now more than ever as significant research is proving the mind needs to be nourished with the right food too.”
Contestants will be treated to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks every day saving precious time to focus on the renovation tasks ahead.
With over 100 meals to choose from, menu items include frittatas and omelettes for breakfast, wraps and burgers for lunch, and Honey Soy Chicken or Turkey, Cranberry & Walnut Salad for dinner.
