PR, social and experiential agency Red Agency Australia took out top honours at this year’s PRWeek Awards Asia, taking out Australia/New Zealand PR Consultancy of the Year and a gold category win for Business-to-Business Campaign of the Year.

The ‘Agency of the Year’ win at the region’s biggest showcase of PR campaigns, is the third year in a row the agency has won the accolade – an unprecedented feat in Asia Pacific.

In the Business-to-Business Campaign of the Year category, Red Agency won gold for its Mobile Futures Australia campaign for Mondelēz International, an industry-leading program that partnered favourite Mondelēz brands, such as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Philadelphia and Marvellous Creations, with some of Australia’s leading technology start-ups.

James Wright, group COO of Havas Worldwide and managing director of Red Agency, commented, “It’s an enormous feat for the agency, being crowned Consultancy of the Year for a third year running, and highlights our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional creativity and strategy for our clients. I’m incredibly proud of the team we have at Red Agency and these wins are a true testament to their determination to go above and beyond for our clients.”

Red Agency was also a finalist in an additional five categories.

Wright, who delivered one of the keynotes at the conference attached to the show earlier in the day added: “It was a big showing for Australia on the night with wins for Adhesive, Crossman Communications, Edelman, H&K Strategies, Liquid Ideas, Ogilvy, Weber Shandwick and the in-house team at ANZ. This is proof that our local industry is thriving and leading the way across the region for creativity, strategic insight and effectiveness.”
