Independent media agency Love Media has appointed Rob Wall (lead image) as managing director.
Wall steps into this leadership position off the back of his role as commercial director at Longtail UX and previous agency roles as group account director at Mitchell’s and commercial director at Carat.
Wall said: “I am thrilled to be joining Love Media. I have known Tony, Ant, and Meredith for some time, and am looking forward to working closely with them to continue the Love Media growth story.
“The independent media agency space is exciting, especially at the moment, with the support of our industry body, the IMAA (Independent Media Agencies Australia), who are doing some great work, and I look forward to working with Sam Buchanan and his team.
“After a break from the media industry, it feels like the right time and the right role to be back in the industry I have enjoyed for so many years. I am looking forward to connecting with some familiar faces soon.”
Walls brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Love Media and will be focused on driving the overall growth of the business and the evolution of the agency’s service/product offering.
Managing partner, Ant Douglas added: “2022 has most definitely been the year where things began to snowball for Love Media. We have grown to a team of eight amazing people, and that is a reflection of the new client partnerships we have formed and the extension of our services through the recent acquisition of Blue Sky Media. As we head into 2023, I am extremely optimistic for the roadmap we have in place to develop our service offering even further and Rob joining the team is key to bringing that plan to life.”
While Love Media currently has representation in both Sydney and Brisbane, Wall will be leading the business from Sydney and his appointment is effective immediately.
