Experiential and digital development house S1T2, together with Affectors and Amigo and Amigo, have brought to life people’s heartbeats by creating an interactive piece for Adobe’s Create Now World Tour.
The work re-invents a century old tree trunk that springs to life using your own heart- beat. Once touched, the reflective pulse oximeter within the tree reads your heartbeat and composes a unique performance. The tree’s lights and sounds are inspired by the elements of nature- earth, fire, wind, and water.
As Chris Panzetta, Managing Director from S1T2 says “It’s about seeing your heart in the art. Amazing pieces always bear the artists soul which is what Adobe’s tools empower creatives to do, so we wanted to create an artwork that literally shows the creative heart.”
The Adobe Heart Tree is on display at Sydney’s Central Park every night from 5:00 pm till midnight until July 25th.
