" Network Ten today announced the appointment of Melissa Fein as National Head of Generate, the company’s premium creative solutions, brand partnerships and creative services division.

Ms Fein previously ran the creative solutions arm of Generate, covering strategy, sponsorship and integration. In her new role, she will report to Network Ten’s Chief Sales Officer, Louise Barrett.

“Mel has been with Generate since it was launched in August 2013 and has become a key member of the Network Ten team,” Ms Barrett said. “She has a great ability to understand a client’s business needs and strategic imperatives, then develop smart, creative solutions that deliver fantastic results.

“Generate has been an outstanding success for Network Ten’s clients, giving them innovative and effective approaches to content creation, sponsorships, activations, talent engagement, experiential marketing, and insights and data – across any screen and any platform.

“Under Mel’s direction, Generate will become an even more important contributor to our business,” she said.

In her new role, Ms Fein will work closely with senior Generate executives Michael Stanford and Aaron Quirk.

Ms Fein has an impressive background in television sales and content. She has worked for Viacom Inc in the United States and Australia, and Ignite Media Brands. Before she joined Network Ten last year, Ms Fein was Head of Entertainment and Sports Partnerships at Mindshare Australia.

Ms Fein said: “I’m delighted to be leading Generate’s highly experienced, committed and creative team. Our focus is on working closely with clients to develop and deliver innovative, ideas-led content that creates deeper engagement with viewers.”

Ms Fein’s appointment as National Head of Generate follows the resignation of Kylie Rogers, who will leave Network Ten on April 17.

Ms Barrett said: “Kylie has made a wonderful contribution to Network Ten over the past 17 years in various senior roles, including Sydney Sales Director, National Sales Manager and National Head of Generate.

“It was Kylie’s drive and passion that helped create Generate and fuelled its success over the past eight months. Kylie has been a vital part of Network Ten for many years. We are going to miss her and she leaves with our very best wishes for the future.” "
