PHD general manager Hadley resigns from agency

PHD Australia has this evening confirmed the resignation of its general manager Martin Hadley after eight years with the agency.

Hadley has been with PHD since 2005, prior to joining he worked in roles as director and deputy general manager at GroupM agency Mindshare.

“Martin has been with PHD since the beginning. We absolutely respect his decision to move on,” said PHD CEO Mark Coad.

“He has made a great contribution and we thank him for it. He leaves with our blessing and we wish him every success for the future” said PHD CEO Mark Coad.

Hadley added: “I have enjoyed this eight year journey immensely. I will look back upon this great opportunity in helping to launch PHD in Australia, and being part of the leadership team that has more than tripled the size of the business without sacrificing quality and innovation.”

Hadley said he would take some time to consider some options for the future

Earlier this week, PHD – along with and incumbent UM – lost out to Carat for L’Oreal Australia’s $40 million media account.
