Wednesday TV Wrap: Socceroos’ Flogging Still Proves Ratings Gold For Broadcaster SBS

Last night saw Kitty Flannagan’s Fisk pull in half a million, and SBS beat out 10 thanks to the world cup. However, despite this turn of events, Seven still took out the night.

According to OzTAM metro numbers, Seven won Wednesday with 24.5 per cent of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Nine did 24.3 per cent, ABC had 20.4 per cent, SBS did 16.5 per cent, and 10 Network did 14.4 per cent.

In the news and current affairs, Seven’s 6 pm bulletin did 815,000, and rival Nine’s had 631,000. ACA pulled 488,000. 

ABC’s news did 562,000. 7.30 posted 474,000 viewers. 

ABC’s Question Everything pulled in 386,000 viewers. Fisk pulled in 500,000 viewers. Hard Quiz grabbed 451,000 viewers. Question Everything pulled in 386,000 viewers – this is an incredible lineup. 

SBS’s 2022 Fifa World Cup pulled in 461,000 viewers – poor Australia got done like a dinner.

Nine’s Country Home Rescue pulled in 332,000 viewers.  

Early evening viewers enjoyed Seven’s Home And Away (444,000), Seven’s The Chase (449,000) and Nine’s Hot Seat (301,000).

10’s best was The Project with 278,000.
