Best Olympic Ad Yet? Samsung Underscores Connection With Heartwarming Campaign Starring Britain’s Youngest Ever Olympics Athlete

Samsung is helping provide connection between Olympic athletes and their family and friends, showcased in a new campaign starring Sky Brown.

Brown is a 13-year-old skateboarder, and the young British athlete to ever appear in the Games. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, spectators are banned, meaning athletes will be competing without the in-person support of family and friendy.

However, Samsung is helping provide connection even without spectators by providing mobile phones to all 17,000 Olympic and Paralympic competitors.

The campaign was created by advertising agency The Community, and depicts Brown using a Galaxy S21 5G to stay in contact with her family and friends.
