Tuesday TV Wrap: Nine News Wins The Night As Lego Masters And MasterChef Have Post Premiere Dip

Nine News came out on top last night with 1,034,000 viewers according to OzTAM’s metro data, as both Lego Masters and Masterchef saw reductions in viewership after their premieres.

Lego Masters had a decrease of 56,000 after Monday’s premiere while MasterChef’s audience dropped by 88,000. The shows received 782,000 and 582,000 viewers respectively.

Second in the ratings was Seven News at 993,000 viewers.

A Current Affair again bested ABC News with 741,000 viewers compared to 677,000 viewers.

Dancing With The Stars: All Stars was again third in the entertainment lineup at 577,000 viewers with another double elimination. Jame Durie and Renee Bargh both waltzed away from the competition.

The rest of Seven’s night had Home and Away at 572,000 viewers, followed by The Chase Australia with 533,000 and The Good Doctor on 311,000.

Over at the ABC, the adorably titled Old People’s Home For 4 Year Olds and Anh’s Brush With Fame both saw slight dips in viewership but still performed well. Old People’s Home For 4 Year Olds had 498,000 viewers while Anh’s interview with showbiz legend Khamal netted 491,000.

For 10, The Project scored 480,000 viewers while 10 News First had 359,000.

Finally, Nine’s only other programming was Hot Seat, which nabbed 470,000.

The race for top of the daily share was tight, with the Nine Network just edging the Seven Network at 28 per cent compared to 26 per cent. In third was Network 10 with 20 per cent of the share, while the ABC Network had 16 per cent and the SBS Network had seven per cent.
