Wednesday TV Wrap: MAFS Beats News To Take Out Number One Spot

Wednesday’s episode of MAFS was filled with so much drama, the reality TV show managed to take out the top spot for the night, beating Seven news, which typically comes in at numero uno.

According to OzTAM metro numbers, 1.058m Aussies tuned in to watch the episode where a husband threatens to leave… not new news on this show, but it makes for entertaining TV each time nonetheless.

Over at Seven, Home and Away was the best of the night with 540,000 viewers, which is slightly down on average.

10’s Survivor: All-Stars did the goods with 584,000, while ABC’s Hard Quiz brought it home for the broadcaster with 588,000 views.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran.

Nine

News did 818,000, ACA did 681,000, Doctor Doctor did 540,000 and Hot Seat did 432,000.

The Project did 445,000 and 10 News First did 336,000.

Seven 

News did 892,000, The Chase did 497,000 and MKR did 416,000.

ABC

Over at the ABC, news did 674,000, 7.30 did 585,000 and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell did 592,00.

All channels share

Nine came first with 30.9 per cent audience share, Seven followed on 24.4 per cent, 10 came in third with 20.0 per cent, ABC did 16.6 per cent and SBS did 8.0 per cent.

Primary channel share

Nine did 24.3 per cent, Seven did 16.6 per cent, 10 did 12.4 per cent, ABC came in with 12.3 per cent and SBS did 4.9 per cent.
