Wednesday TV Wrap: Bachie Soars On Penultimate Episode

10’s The Bachelorette is coming good just in time for tonight’s highly-anticipated finale. Last night’s culling proving to be the series’ most-watched episode thus far pulling 829,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Make of it what you will, but as The Bachie rose a good 100,000 on its typical numbers, the ABC’s Gruen (664,000 last night) shed a similar amount.

Seven won the night with 26.4 per cent of all the eyeballs (all channels). Nine had 25.3 per cent, 10 wasn’t far behind with 21.6 per cent, the ABC did 18.2 and SBS had 8.3 per cent.

The most-watched show of the night was Seven’s 6pm news with 963,000. Other standouts for the network included Home And Away (569,000), The Chase (533,000) and two episodes of Motobike Cops (506,000 and 481,000 respectively).

Nine’s best was its 6pm news (791,000), ACA (681,000), David Attenborough’s Seven Worlds One Planet (538,000) and Hot Seat (452,000).

Over at the ABC, its night went thus: 7pm news (635,000), Gruen (664,000), 7.30 (541,000), Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery (456,000) and Frayed (368,000).
