Impact Bolsters APAC Team With Senior Appointments

Impact, a global leader in partnership automation, has made two senior appointments, further strengthening its Asia Pacific presence.

Ayaan Mohamud (featured image, right) joins Impact as its first APAC marketing director responsible for strategy and execution, including PR, event management, sales enablement and demand generation.

In addition, Steve Arnold (featured image, left) has been appointed as solutions architect to help brands and agencies optimise their partnership programs and maximise marketing ROI across all digital channels.

He is also responsible for market education on fraud prevention techniques and offline/online attribution measurement.

A marketing professional with ten years experience, Mohamud has worked in the digital industry across both Australia and the UK.

She joins Impact from Sizmek where she held a number of senior regional roles for more than four years including marketing director of its APAC business.

Arnold comes to Impact from Media Lab, where he was director of technology and data for the dedicated media planning and buying arm of the Westpac Banking Group’s portfolio of brands including Westpac, St George and Bank SA. Prior to this he worked at AppNexus for more than four years.

Both will report to Impact APAC managing director, Adam Furness.

Furness said: “We continue to see growth across the region as organisations harness the revenue generation opportunities partnership programs offer.

“Key to our continued success is having the best talent in the business and both Ayaan and Steve have significant expertise in their respective fields.

“I’m delighted to welcome both to the growing Impact APAC team and I look forward to working alongside them as we continue to drive the business forward.”

The appointments come as Impact continues to win business and expand across the region with the opening of offices in Singapore and China.

In June, Impact released a global study from Forrester Consulting which shows companies with mature partnership programs grow overall company revenue nearly twice as fast as those without.
