Online Lifestyle Brand Sitchu Launches First Of Its Kind Suburb Search Tool
Popular online lifestyle brand Sitchu has today launched a first of its kind suburb search tool to help its audience unlock their ideal local lifestyle.
Hosted on the new Sitchu ‘Living Pillar’, a content hub dedicated to home design, property and entertaining, the intuitive search tool allows people to search and find a suburb to live, based on what is important to them.
Sitchu Publisher, Georgia Tomaszewski said the brand undertook extensive research around what young and savvy Australians really care about when they are looking for a suburb to live in, and lifestyle interests came out on top.
Tomaszewski said: “Sitchu is a hyperlocal site for people looking to visit, live or buy in Australia’s most sought-after suburbs, and combines content about the best places to live, shop, eat, drink, stay and play, nationally.
“The next natural step was to offer our audience the ability to search and find their ideal suburb to live, based on their individual lifestyle and life-stage needs.”
The suburb search tool allows users to select whether they want to live near cafés, the water, bars, shops, schools, parks, etc.; who they want to live with; partner, friends, family or on their own, and what their budget is.
It then provides them with a broad range of suburbs that match that criteria.
Tomaszewski continued: “Once they have selected their chosen suburb, the tool provides a complete suburb guide to that area, drilling down into what it’s like to live there, what the neighbours are like, core location attributes, the best places to visit and the top things to see and do.
“The tool is unique because it empowers people to discover and build their ideal lifestyle based on their interests and helps them to intricately understand a suburb before they move in.
“It also expands the parameters of searching for a place to live, as it allows people to discover suburbs they may never have considered, that actually offer the kind of lifestyle they’re looking for.”
Alongside the details aligned to each of the suburbs, the tool also offers property listings to rent or to buy, in the user’s selected suburb.
Sitchu co-founder and editor-in-chief, Holly Perks said to bring the property component of the tool to life, Sitchu integrated with premium real estate brand, Belle Property to feed the live listings.
Perks said: “The tool allows people to find their perfect suburb, so it made sense to allow them to also discover homes to buy and rent in that location.
“Integrating Belle Property listings with the tool was a seamless fit as Sitchu’s goals are highly aligned to Belle Property’s approach as a brand that values lifestyle first and property second.”
With the launch of the tool, Sitchu will now offer its audience an end-to-end lifestyle solution that helps them with everything from finding their ideal suburb to live, to creating their dream home.
The Living Pillar and suburb search tool was officially launched today with an integrated brand strategy.
Perks added: “This morning we hosted an intimate event at Sydney’s Hacienda to officially launch the Living Pillar and suburb search tool with a live Q&A from a panel of experts within the interiors and home design industry including Tash Sefton, Poppy O’Neil, Deborah Bibby and Jillian Dinkel.
“From here, we will be supporting the launch with an out-of-home and digital media campaign, consumer promotions and strategic amplification across the Belle Property network of assets.”
