Tom Cruise’s “Stunt Double” Stars In Riotous New Uber Campaign

Rideshare platform Uber has unveiled its latest campaign in the US that doubles as a trailer for the next instalment of Tom Cruise’s upcoming Mission Impossible flick that, it must be said, looks pretty damn awesome judging by the snippets in the ad.

The spot follows Cruise’s (fictional) stunt double, the affable Cooper Adrian, who basically has nothing to do all day because Cruise does all his own stunts on set.

With all that time on his hands, young Cooper can turn his spare time into cash by driving an Uber and regaling his near-fame to disinterested passengers.

The spot also works to promote the new film called Mission: Impossible – Fallout and comes with a number of tie-ins. Uber is sponsoring the film’s premiere in Paris on July the 12th and it will be live-streamed on Uber’s own YouTube channel, too.
