Rebel Wilson Shuts Down Rumours Vogue ‘Slimmed’ Her Down For Cover Shoot
While Rebel Wilson is busy celebrating her cover shoot for Vogue Australia, social media users are claiming her photos have been doctored to ‘slim her down’.
The photos will appear in the next issue of Vogue Australia, and Wilson took to Twitter to promote the shoot.
I never would’ve thought this element would be added to my life: Vogue Covergirl. This was such an amazing experience, thank you Vogue Australia and to all the designers and stylists who worked on this shoot! Though social media users were quick to critique the images, claiming Wilson “looked like a different woman”.
They altered the photo. Look at her face and hands. Slimmed down. Why can’t they just show her in her natural beauty.?
— Laura Barzallo (@LauraBarzallo) May 22, 2018
I'm a big fan of Rebel have been since The Wedge days, but your face looks like it's been altered. I hope this isn't the case, and I'm wrong, cos ur perfect the way u are, but scroll down to the photo beneath…
— Perfect Illusion (@RoycieGaGa) May 22, 2018
This just looks like a completely different woman.
— Heather Meinke (@MysteriaKiito) May 22, 2018
I think you're great and this is wonderful, but it looks edited for more than just finishing touches and that makes me sad.
— PumpkinFarts (@g0spumpkinfarts) May 22, 2018
Shortly after, Wilson took it upon herself to clarify the rumours, pointing out she had simply eaten healthily in the weeks before the shoot.
Nope, not slimmed down! I just ate healthy and exercised for the month before the shoot x but then immediately after ate brownies!
— Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) May 22, 2018
She then posted this tweet as a follow up to dispel any rumours.
Oh and just so you can see the raw v’s the magazine shot, I took a monitor photo myself on the day of the shoot! So please don’t carry on that these shots are heavily photoshopped because they’re not! pic.twitter.com/7DcgO4hZ3a

Vogue Australia also posted a behind the scenes clip of Wilson during the shoot to accompany the mag drop.
