WordStorm PR Representing Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife

WordStorm PR is proud to be representing The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife – a national non-government organisation (NGO) that has been working to protect and safeguard Australia’s wilderness and wildlife for decades.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW) was established in 1970 as an environmental charity. They have raised and invested over $60 million, increased the size of the national reserve system by 600,000 hectares and funded over 5,000 conservation and heritage projects across Australia.

By joining forces with supporters, donors and project partners FNPW have been able to make a world of difference to Australian conservation. They raise funds to support projects and work in partnership – with scientists, local communities and indigenous groups, private landholders, volunteers and government agencies making a difference in the field, right across the country.

In 2017 the NGO is celebrating 10 years of ‘Backyard Buddies’ – FNPW’s community education initiative, which is the only “national backyard wildlife” appreciation program in Australia.

The Backyard Buddies education initiative includes a resourceful website and monthly B-mail e-newsletter to support, encourage and provide information to people in built up and suburban areas on how they can do their bit and help provide vital native habitat in their backyard.

WordStorm PR’s MD Monica Rosenfeld is thrilled to be spreading the word about The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife.

“It is so important that more Australian’s know about the work of FNPW and the importance of our native species. We really look forward to working with them to educate the public, so they know how they can be active in conservation and how important their donations can be.”

WordStorm PR will be working with Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife to increase awareness and understanding of the  charity’s efforts and impact on Australian conservation.
