Ad agency The Reactor enlisted its latest press release writing ability to one of its client’s Mr. Men characters, Mr. Slow to deliver the release revealing the new Mr. Models website: an international modeling agency for Mr. Men and Little Miss characters seeking brand representation work.

“Yup. In hindsight asking Mr. Slow was a bit silly,” lamented creative director, Nick Brown. “By the same token we didn’t want to just rush something small out. And I was too busy to do it myself.”

“Not clever. Not clever at all,” echoed a grumpy Phil Childs. “In fact, it was a lot of nonsense really. When you do good, strong bits of work that tickle people’s funny bones like this, you want to be noisy, not quiet.”

Brown continued: “I’m not greedy or fussy, but I don’t think it’s a tall order to expect a bit of punctuality. I mean, I’m not asking for the impossible. Nobody is perfect, but a messy muddle like this, even a small one, is not cool.

“Still, our brave client is happy and that’s all we worry about.”

Mr. Slow’s reply to defend his actions had not been received at time of publication.
