Entrepreneur Harry Dewhirst Joins BlisMedia

Advertising technology company BlisMedia today announced the addition of acclaimed entrepreneur Harry Dewhirst to its executive team and board of directors.

Dewhirst’s experience in developing high growth ad tech businesses globally will help to accelerate Blis’ international expansion, particularly progressing the important Asia-Pacific markets.

Dewhirst has run businesses in Europe, USA and Asia-Pacific. He co-founded advertising technology firms Amobee and RingRing Media. Amobee was acquired in 2012 by Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) for $321 million. In 2009, he took home Media Week’s prestigious Rising Star Award, and was listed in the top 50 mobile executive by Mobile Entertainment magazine.

Dewhirst, based out of Blis’ Singapore office, is now President & Chief Commercial Officer, leading the growing global commercial partnerships and playing a key role in strategic planning for international expansion.

Blis was established in the UK in 2004, bringing audience location data and consumer targeting expertise to brands. Blis’ products enable brands to reach very specific digital audiences based on where they are, who they are and where they have been.

Building on the success of its UK headquartered business, Blis has established a Southeast Asia hub in Singapore and an Australasia hub in Sydney, and developed partnerships across US and Europe. The company plans to open more offices globally in the next year.
