Sunday TV Wrap: MAFS Hits A Season High Of 1.68 Million

It was once again MAFS first and dust second on TV last night, as the rancorous dating show soared to a series record of 1.685 million viewers according to overnight OzTAM metro numbers.

Unsurprisingly, Nine easily won Sunday night with a whopping 39.4 per cent audience share. Seven had to settle for 25.2 per cent. The ABC had 18.4 per cent, 10 was left scratching its head and just 10.3 per cent, while SBS posted 6.6 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news (1.03 million) managed to beat rival Nine’s (1 million). However, Nine’s 60 Minutes (811,000) turned the table of Seven’s Sunday Night (342,000). While Nine’s Australian Crime Stories pulled 346,000.

Seven’s Sunday afternoon AFL coverage had 341,000 to Nine’s NRL with 284,000.

Network 10’s bleak Sunday ran this way: The Sunday Project (309,000), 10 News First (240,000), Chris And Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway (246,000) and Hughesy We Have A Problem (236,000).

The ABC’s best was its 7pm news with 679,000, followed by Vera (659,000) and Restoration Australia (539,000).

Over at the SBS, some 153,000 effluent fans tuned in to watch The Five Billion Pound Super Sewer.
