Sunday TV Wrap: ‘All Together Now’ Finale Has Seven Dancing To A Win

It arguably never set the ratings on fire, but last night’s All Together Now proved one TV certainty and that’s viewers will tune in for a finale.

The final episode, won by Brisbane draftsman Lai Utovou doing an impressive Bruno Mars impersonation, pulled 717,000 viewers and was enough to give host broadcaster, Channel Seven, a Sunday night win.

Seven took home 32.4 per cent of last night’s eyeballs, followed by Nine’s 29.2 per cent. There was the proverbial bee’s genitals between 10 and the ABC, the former (15.3 per cent) beating the latter (15.2 per cent). SBS took home 7.9 per cent.

Seven’s night ran thus: 6pm news (888,000), All Together Now (717,000), Sunday Night (571,000) and Manhunt (320,000).

Over at Nine, things went this way: 6pm news (812,000), 60 Minutes (647,000), RBT (507,000), The Equalizer (287,000).

For 10 it was all about its coverage of the Supercars from Newcastle. The race enjoying an average of 286,000 during the day and rising to 291,000 for the finish and podium.

Once again, The Sunday Project was disappointing for 10, managing only 312,000 and beaten by The Graham Norton Show with 366,000. NCIS (305,000) and 10 News First (292,000) the network’s other highlights.

For ABC, its Sunday ran this way: 7pm news (666,000), Don’t Stop The Music (443,000), Insiders (335,000) and Missy Higgins And Friends Live (263,000).

Over at SBS, its best was Pompeii’s Final Hours: New Evidence with a less than volcanic 210,000.
