The Red Republic has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Mai Aristoteli (pictured above) as general manager.
Aristoteli joins The Red Republic from Talk PR in London, where she has worked for nine years as a board director.
The appointment of Aristoteli follows The Red Republic managing director Lynn Mooney’s relocation to head-up the agency’s Los Angeles office in August.
The Red Republic CEO Fleur Madden said: “The last 18 months we have been building our management team of talented women across our four offices – Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and LA – and we are pleased to have welcomed Mai into that fold.
“Mai boasts a long and successful career in PR internationally and her experience has been a wonderful addition to the business.”
Commenting on her appointment, Aristoteli said: “On relocating to Australia, I was looking for a national agency with attitude that did amazing work. The Red Republic was on my radar, and the stars aligned that they too were looking.
“I am delighted to be part of The Red Republic’s team and I look forward to using my years of PR and management experience to help continue the growth of the agency.
“They have already achieved great things over the last 14 years, most recently with the expansion to Los Angeles and the merger of Pineapple PR on the Gold Coast earlier this year.
“The team has blown me away with the awe-inspiring client work they do every day. We are coming into 2018 – our 15th year in business – strong, so expect to see more big things from us.”
