This year’s TikTok Young Lions competition was hotter than ever, receiving a record number of entrants and a staggering standard of work.

The winners and the still very worthy runners-up were revealed at Sydney’s Ace Hotel on Thursday after a frenetic 24 hours of work (48 hours for those in the film category) from all the finalists.

This year’s campaign brief centred around promoting the work and driving donations for Afghan Women on the Move, a brilliant charity founded by Maryam Zahid, dedicated to helping Afghani women, as well as those from other diverse backgrounds, get settled and make the most of their new lives down under with support, networking and, above all, a community.

This year’s winners will all go on to represent Australia in the Young Lions Global Competition, going head-to-head with rivals from around the world to compete for the crown. They will also each get a ticket to the French Riviera for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity from 19-23 June — and who wouldn’t want that?
