US Comedian Gets Roasted For Mocking Tourism Australia Ad Featuring Two Indigenous Men

Comedian, David Bronstein has been roasted for making fun of an Australian tourism ad by declaring that an image of two aboriginal men sitting at Uluru would not attract tourists to Australia.

Bronstein spotted the Aussie ad, in North America. The ad is part of Tourism Australia’s $56 million “Don’t go small, go Australia” platform.

The ad features two Indigenous men sitting in front of Uluru. Basically, it serves to show off Australia’s rich Indigenous culture and history. However, Bronstein wasn’t a fan of the advert, and he took to TikTok to make fun of it.

In a TikTok, Bronstein said: “Do you see this sign, ‘Don’t Go Small Go to Australia? Is this going to entice you to go to Australia to meet these two guys?

“Are these guys Hugh Jackman?” He joked.

Bronstein’s tone-deaf response to the ad immediately caught the attention of the internet. The video now has over 50,000 views, and plenty of people commented, calling the comedian out.

One person commented, “Two of the most interesting men you’d probably ever meet here, from the oldest living culture. Fascinating stories. Poor taste, mate.”

Another commented, “As an Aussie, I sincerely hope it doesn’t entice you to come here, ever! And the USA wonders why it’s the joke of the internet.”

Daily Mail Australia reported that it spoke to Bronstein about the controversy. He said: “I was walking by a travel agency, and I saw the poster with two elderly gentlemen sitting on a rock.
