We Are Social Appoints Alice Coulthard As GM

Socially-led creative agency, We Are Social, has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Alice Coulthard (right in main photo) as general manager. She joins the 60-strong Sydney team as the company expands in response to strong growth from existing and new clients.

Reporting to CEO Suzie Shaw (left in main photo), Coulthard will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the business and helping to drive continued growth in creative momentum. Working with all departments across the agency, Alice will support all of We Are Social’s clients including Samsung, Foxtel, Audi, Kathmandu, Zip and many others.

Coulthard brings nearly 15 years of local and international experience to the agency, having held senior account leadership positions at SEEN Connects in London and Ogilvy PR and Pulse in Sydney. 

Her portfolio has seen her responsible for the strategic planning, creative development and execution of programs in Australia and across APAC for brands including Ford, Telstra, Expedia, Kimberly-Clark, Getty Images, eBay, Microsoft and Coca-Cola. Alice also spent three years working in live experience and branded content production for brands such as FIFA World Cup, William Grant & Sons and TUI.

 Coulthard commented, “We Are Social has a market-leading approach to socially-led creative and as the social and cultural landscape continues to evolve, I am excited to work with the team to develop ideas worth talking about for our clients and build an environment that nurtures and propels great talent to lead those conversations. I will work closely with the leadership team to support the growth of our in-house production offering, We Are Social Studios, managing the operations and supporting our talent in another year of growth.”
