Monday TV Wrap: Nine’s Snackmasters Debuts & Wins Entertainment

Nine’s Snackmasters wins the night in entertainment pulling in 603,000 viewers – if you can watch this without snacking, as far as I’m concerned you are superhuman!

In news, news – Seven News hit 949,000 viewers while Nine News had 872,000 viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair snagged the second entertainment spot with 696,000 viewers – Do you think the cameraman on the show have to pass a yearly fitness test?

For 10, The Project snagged 370,000 viewers and 10 News First claimed 294,000 viewers. 
On Nine, Hot Seat scored 409,000 viewers – nothing like watching a quiz show to make you realise you learned nothing. at Uni. 
ABC had a solid night with ABC News netting 641,000 viewers and 7.30 earning 568,000 viewers. Australian Story nabbed 456,000 viewers and Media Watch delivered solid numbers with 350,000 viewers – if people still used the word girl boss – I’d call Ita a girl boss.
Out on top was the Nine Network with 29.8 per cent. Seven Network fell slightly behind with 25.8 per cent of the daily share.  The ABC Network earned 18.9 per cent of the share, while the Ten Network dipped with 15.5 per cent of the share. The SBS had 10.00 per cent.
Looking now to OzTAM’s total tv report for Monday, last week, the top-performing program was Seven News with a total audience of 1,575,000 viewers (metro: 961,000 regional: 581,000, BVOD: 31,000).
Interestingly, Nine News was knocked out of the second spot by 10’s Celebrity Masterchef with a total audience of 1,222,000 viewers. (metro: 805,000 regional: 283,000, BVOD: 61,000) – never underestimate the allure of celebrities and food
Next was the Nine News, with a total audience of 1,217,000 viewers (metro: 880,000 regional: 304,000, BVOD: 31,000).
Nine’s Love Island Finale saw the biggest boost with 129 per cent, bringing it to a total audience of 512,000 (metro: 172,000, regional: 52,000, BVOD: 222,000)
