Hotwire, the global technology communications consultancy, has announced the appointment of Samsung Electronics’ Nick Healy (pictured) to the newly created role of client services director.

The new role will operate within the local Australian leadership team and fuel the consultancy’s growth with existing clients and new business opportunities.

Healy will join managing director Jaime Nelson, creative director Jen Dobbie, and strategy director Drew Usher, to continue momentum during a time of accelerated growth across Hotwire Australia’s services portfolio.

In the role, Healy will also lead a communications team to support an evolution of end-to-end storytelling capabilities offered to enterprise technology and innovation-led clients.

Healy joins Hotwire Australia following eight years with Samsung Electronics, where he held various leadership roles within the communications and corporate affairs team across mobile and consumer electronics divisions.

He brings a wealth of experience working with some of the world’s largest technology brands, as well as start-ups in consumer electronics, enterprise technology, IoT, networks and gaming.

Speaking on the appointment, Healy says: “Hotwire has a strong history of consulting with the most innovative technology brands in Australia and in key global markets. With the technology sector evolving to become one of the biggest contributors to Australia’s economy, it’s an incredibly exciting time to join the team and open opportunities for clients through integrated communications services and experiences.”

Hotwire Australia managing director, Nelson, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nick into our team. Nick’s scope of strategic communications and technology experience make him an incredibly valuable addition, and will strengthen our offering as we step beyond traditional PR and communications roots and move into connected storytelling, marketing and branding.”

“By bolstering not only our senior leadership team, but our client services team, we’re building on our strong foundations to deliver a more integrated service that aligns to the needs of the brands we partner with.”

The team has also been strengthened with the addition of Olivia Jarman and Allan Hunt as program managers.

Jarman joins from The PR Hub, where she was a senior account manager, and prior to that worked in a decentralised technology PR agency in London for several years. Hunt has moved across from Weber Shandwick, where he’s been for the past two and a half years, most recently as a Senior Associate.

The appointments come following a stellar Q1 FY22 results announcement by Enero Group (ASX:EGG), reporting a net revenue year-on-year increase of 22.6 per cent and operating EBITDA up 50 per cent on the previous corresponding period.

The latest financial results announced at the Group’s Annual General Meeting were driven primarily by strong performance delivered by Hotwire, BMF, and OBMedia.

“We’re stepping into the new year from a position of strength, with our new talent supporting an end-to-end capability, to supercharge the client work we deliver. As an agency, we’re incredibly excited for what’s to come,” added Nelson.

These new and ongoing hires represent Hotwire Australia’s evolution to a connected storytelling consultancy, with in-house capabilities delivering narrative-driven strategy, brand identity development, internal and external communication programs, marketing campaigns, social, and press office across multiple verticals to help make technology brands irresistible.
