S4 Capital, a digital advertising firm, had reported revenue of almost £122 million in Q1, approximately AU$219 million.

In the same period last year, the firm netted approximately £71 million, a revenue increase of 35 per cent.

S4 Capital will now raise its like-for-like net revenue target from 25 per cent to 30 per cent.

Their gross profit for Q1 was nearly £104 million, an increase of 33 per cent.

Sorrell said, “We believe we will be able to target a further three tech clients this year, which would total eight, of which six would be in tech and telecommunications.”

He also described the situation as “extremely optimistic” for both 2021 and 2022, as a result of the “huge global fiscal and monetary stimulus introduced to counter the impact of the pandemic.”

“The chickens may come home to roost in 2023.”

In 2020, the firm added a number of significant clients to its repertoire, including T-Mobile’s in-house digital media and BMW and Mini’s pan European account.
