The PR Group Signs Three News Clients

Asia-Pacific communications consultancy The PR Group (PRG Communications Pte Ltd.) has strengthened its business in the region, kicking off 2021 with three new client signings.

The consultancy, which specialises in technology and innovation,  has been engaged to support Singapore-based telco challenger Circles.life to expand into Australia.

Global digital customer service leader Zendesk has engaged the firm to support its employee engagement and internal communications across the Asia-Pacific region.

Working in team with Singaporean digital agency, First Wave,  The PR Group has been engaged to launch Monopoly Explore! SG, Hasbro’s digital version of its iconic game Monopoly, which has been tailored to the Singaporean market.

The signings represent growth in the region for The PR Group, which opened its Singapore office in late 2019.

“We are humbled and invigorated by the opportunity to work alongside these leading brands in the Asia-Pacific region,” The PR Group’s CEO Caroline Shawyer said.

“We thrive on working with companies who share our values. Each of these businesses is an invaluable partner – Zendesk as a company that builds connections between people and communities around the world, Circles.life as a challenger that delivers value and fun for mobile users across the region and Monopoly as an innovative brand that has continued to drive connection and reach new audiences through its creative marketing efforts.”

Zendesk Chief Operating Officer for Asia-Pacific Wendy Johnstone said that The PR Group’s strong experience with both enterprise technology companies and high-growth startups across multiple Asia-Pacific markets made them the partner of choice for region-wide internal communications.

“We needed a partner who understood our business, who had a growth mindset and who can unite people working remotely across many different functions and geographies,” Ms Johnstone said. “The PR Group is that partner.”

Circles.life Head of Australia Kristen Holden said that engaging an agency with experience in both Singapore and Australia was vital to their expansion into the Australian market.

“As we introduce Circles.life to Australian mobile users we rely heavily on The PR Group’s understanding of our business culture and our target market. The team’s insight-led creativity and outstanding media connections, helps us deliver smart and engaging PR campaigns that drive impact in the Australian market.”
