Rashays Enters The Great Burger Feud Of 2020 With The ‘Big MacJac’

Rashays Enters The Great Burger Feud Of 2020 With The ‘Big MacJac’

While the legal battle between McDonald’s and Hungry jack’s over the contentious ‘Big jack’ burger continues to simmer away, Rashays has entered the field its own ‘Big’ burger.

The Australian restaurant chain has recently unveiled the ‘Big MacJac’ as its answer to the Big Mac/Big Jack.

Rashays says the difference between the Big MacJac and its competitors is that their burger is created with wagyu beef.

With such a provocative name, it is no surprise to learn Rashays has already been having some fun with the burger.

Last week, the restaurant uploaded a video to social media in which someone attempts to oder the ‘Big MacJac’ from both McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s.

According to pedestrian.tvthe new burger has already caught the interest of McDonald’s’ lawyers.

“There’s nothing more Aussie than having a bit of a laugh at their expense,” said Rashays founder Rami Ykmour.

“We can’t believe in these tough times where we are struggling to survive through a global pandemic, one big giant is fighting with another, wasting time over a burger.

“Our focus should be connecting and supporting each other rather than filing a lawsuit. How silly is that?”

It’s been a busy year on the marketing front for Rashays.

Earlier this year the restaurant chain made the decision to suspend a two-year major sponsorship deal with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, after the club became embroiled in a schoolgirl sex scandal.

The restaurant recently signed on with the Cronulla Sharks as the back of jersey partner for the NRL finals series.

The Sharks bowed out in the first week of the finals, going down to the Canberra Raiders 32-20.
