Wednesday TV Wrap: Hard Quiz & The Block Neck And Neck, But Nine Wins The Night

While the ABC’s Hard Quiz might have only narrowly missed out winning the top entertainment slot for the night with 682,000 viewers to The Block‘s 687,000 viewers, it was ultimtatley Nine who took home the overall crown, according to OzTAM metro data.

Nine won across primary channel share, recording 20.7 per cent. However, Seven wasn’t far behind as it posted 18.9 per cent, while ABC was a distant third with 13.6 per cent. 10 did 11.1 per cent, while SBS did 6.5 per cent.

Over at 10, its best for the night was The Bachelor with 549,000, meanwhile, Seven’s The Chase was its most-watched entertainment show with 682,000 tuning in.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Nine

News did 1.03m, A Current Affair did 710,000, Emergency did 522,000, and Hot Seat did 497,000.

The Project did 536,000 and 10 News First did 382,000.

Seven

News did 1.00m, Home & Away did 592,000 and Highway Patrol did 407,000.

ABC

News did 711,000, 7.30 did 571,000 and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell did 588,000.
