BBC News Interview Derailed By Adorable Kid Who Can’t Decide Where To Put Her Framed Unicorn Photo

A live BBC News broadcast was adorably crashed by a child who was very concerned about the placement of her framed unicorn photo.

Dr Clare Wenham was appearing on a news segment with journalist Christian Fraser to discuss the impact of UK lockdowns when Wenham’s daughter Scarlett very sweetly interrupted the interview.

While Scarlett was originally sitting on Wenham’s lap, the child decided to do some redecorating, with a particular focus on where on the shelf a framed photo of a unicorn should sit.

You can watch the cuteness (and hilarity) ensure below.

Struggling to decide where the photo should go, Scarlett turned to Wenham for help who tried to solider on in the interview. Meanwhile, Fraser himself was distracted by Scarlett, so asked: “What’s your daughter called?”

“Scarlett, I think it looks better on the lower shelf,” he said. “And it’s a lovely unicorn.”

Upon hearing her name Scarlett turned to look at the camera, and asked her mum: “What’s his name? What’s his name mummy?”

Scarlett then said: “Christian, I’m just deciding where mummy wants the frame to go.”

Plenty of viewers were immediately smitten by the child, taking to Twitter to praise both mum and daughter.

“Someone give this woman a medal,” wrote one viewer.

Another said: “This is the sweetest thing I’ve seen today.”

While another commented: “This is lovely and no doubt a reality for so many working from home right now.”
