Appscore Goes On Hiring Frenzy Due To Telstra Partnership

Australia’s largest mobile app developer, Appscore, has been on a hiring frenzy in recent weeks as mobile app development goes mainstream and a working relationship with Telstra intensifies.

Five new full-time team members have joined the head office in Melbourne in recent weeks. A search continues for a further dozen or more staff to join the rapidly expanding team by the end of the year.

Appscore co-founder and managing director Alex Louey says the company has formed a strong partnership with Telstra during the past 18 months, which has resulted in number of new staff appointments.

Appscore has been creating industry-leading apps before smartphones hit the mainstream. Continuous research, analysis, testing and the company’s quality assurance service ensures Appscore stays at the top of the game.

“We’re an agile team who pride ourselves on being able to identify what our customer needs before they do. Our customer service extends beyond the technology and it allows us to form lasting partnerships.”

“We’re in the game of solving problems for our clients through solutions that embrace business objectives and exceed expectations. We’ve creatively engineered more than 300 apps for our clients, and more than a million people are accessing Appscore-built apps every single day.”

Louey says growth has been fuelled by Australian businesses, of all sizes, harnessing the power of mobile app technology to drive higher internal efficiencies, which has a subsequent effect on customer interaction. Mercedes Benz, Nestle, NSW Health, Melbourne Airport, and Telstra have trusted Appscore to create customised solutions that solve a current problem and drive value.

“We create tailored strategies that redefine the way people do business using the latest in mobile technology. We’ve developed a unique set of tools and techniques that allows us to deliver faster working prototypes to solve our clients’ problems in days, not months.”

Appscore’s service offer is enhanced by a capability to combine mobile-led thinking and digital marketing expertise with Search Engine Optimisation, Adwords and social media strategy for clients who require it. This full service approach has been integral to the partnership with Telstra and its clients.

The advance of mobile app technology is allowing brands to enhance their marketing with experiences that connect customers with their environment. Louey says this is an exciting new business channel for Appscore, who are currently working on a large-scale project, soon to be announced, in this space.

Appscore was co-founded by Louey and Nick Bell in 2009 and now has offices in Dubai, Los Angeles, New Zealand, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. Louey expects annual turnover to double in the next 18 months.
