Sunday TV Wrap: Celebrity MasterChef Stars On A Surprisingly Quiet Night

With The Block done and dusted, 10’s Celebrity MasterChef was the show to shine on Sunday night.

The cooking program was the most-watched entertainment show of the night, but that’s not to say it saw a significant boost in numbers with the competition out of the way.

On a night where no program topped the million-mark, Celebrity MasterChef pulled 545,000 OzTAM metro viewers.

Nine not only won Sunday, but its 6pm news bulletin (890,000) was the most watched show of the night. Seven’s news managed 874,000 and 60 Minutes did 465,000.

Nine had 28.7 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs. Seven did 26.9 per cent, 10 had 19.5 per cent, the ABC pulled 16.7 per cent and SBS did 8.1 per cent.

Further proof that viewers are enjoying their post-lockdown life, Nine’s Parental Guidance could only get to 487,000 last night.

Other standouts for Seven included 7News Spotlight: Sex, Lies and Audiotape (489,000), Granny Killer: The Unsolved Murders (274,000) and Seven News at Five (231,000).

Nine did well with American Tragedy: The Gabby Petito Story (330,000) and Nine News: First at Five (219,000).

10’s evening ran thus: Celebrity MasterChef (454,000), The Sunday Project (381,000), 10 News First (261,000) and CSI: Vegas (219,000).
