Radio mogul Kyle Sandilands has celebrated his 50th birthday with a host of celebrity guests.

To begin the celebrations, Sandilands was escorted to the studio by the KIIS street team, where he was welcomed by cheerleaders and confetti – the perfect way to start the day.

Birthday wishes flew in from his co-host Jackie O, who gave a touching speech about their 21-year-friendship, including the time Geri Halliwell cancelled her Australian tour after being offended by Sandilands.

Slightly less touching was a birthday message from non-other than Donald Trump…Junior.

Jackie O describes the message as a “long time in the making”, and when Sandilands found out it was Donald Trump Jr said it was “the best day ever”.

Donald Trump Junior wished him a slightly bizarre happy birthday saying, “[50] is a huge milestone, so congratulations.”

“I know you’re a big supporter of my father, and my family…I just want to thank you for all of the support for President Trump. We need it, and God knows, down there, you guys need it too.”

Other highlights included Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman calling in live to sing Happy Birthday, as well as messages from Karl Stefanovic, Kesha, Tyra Banks, Kim Kardashian, Zac Efron, Rihanna, Pink, Tones and I, Guy Sebastian, Miranda Kerr, Ria Ora, Kris Jenner, Delta Goodrem, The Jonas Brothers, Amy Shark, James Blunt and Katy Perry.

With a list that exhaustive, it’s easy to see why the KIIS team went for recorded messages rather than trying to get them all to sign a birthday card.

A true highlight, though, was Jim Jeffries’ roast of Sandilands. Watch below for the uncensored version, and don’t say we didn’t warn you.
