Santa Sheds The Pounds In Glorious New Spot For Audi

The Christmas season is never kind to the waistline, and one person who knows that better than anyone is Santa Claus himself, according to a wonderful new spot for Audi’s RS 5 Sportback.

The ad, called “New Santa”, is the work of US agency M/H VCCP and sees Mr Claus cut the cookies and take-up a rather rigorous fitness regime that’s helped along by his elves and an encouraging Mrs Claus.

The ad, at almost four-minutes long, sees Santa drop the weight and soon be able to fit into his shiny new red RS 5.

Undoubtedly a lot of fun, critics may suggest that the ad’s merely a metaphor for overweight, middle-aged men having a midlife crisis and pining for a shiny new red sports car.

But let’s not moralise, instead enjoy the wonderful, big budget piece of work below:
